Academic Regulations & Guidelines

Updated:October 2026
Status:Active Policy

Welcome to Bright Quran Online. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, class arrangements, and expectations for students learning with us. By booking classes, you agree to these practical guidelines designed to ensure a smooth and respectful learning environment.

1. Booking and Free First Class

Students or parents can book classes directly through our official WhatsApp. We offer a free first introductory class to help you experience our teaching method. There is absolutely no obligation to continue or pay after this first class.

2. Class Format and Scheduling

Our classes are normally one-to-one, live sessions lasting 30 minutes. Class schedules (days and times) are agreed upon mutually between the assigned teacher and the student (or their parent/guardian).

Note on Scope: We focus on teaching established Islamic knowledge (such as Quran recitation and basic rulings). We do not act as an independent fatwa-issuing authority (Darul Ifta).

3. Attendance, Late Arrivals, and Rescheduling

  • ◆Late Arrivals: If a student arrives late to a scheduled session, the teacher may offer extra time if their schedule permits, but this extra time is not guaranteed.
  • ◆Rescheduling: A missed class may be rescheduled provided that at least 24 hours' prior notice is given. Rescheduling is strictly subject to teacher availability.
  • ◆Late Cancellations & No-shows: A class cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed entirely without notice, is counted as a used class.

4. Student and Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

To ensure a productive learning experience, we expect students and parents/guardians to:

  • ◆Communicate respectfully with teachers and academy staff at all times.
  • ◆Be ready on time for the scheduled class.
  • ◆Arrange a reliable, working internet connection and a suitable device for online video/audio calling.
  • ◆Provide appropriate parental supervision and support during a child's class when necessary.

5. Fees and Monthly Payments

All class fees are denominated in USD. Fees are paid manually in advance for each month of classes. We do not operate automatic recurring charges or automatic payment authorizations on this website.

If a student wishes to end their ongoing enrolment, they must notify the academy before their next billing date.

6. Changes to Teachers or Schedules

The academy reserves the right to change a teacher or adjust a class time when necessary. If a teacher cancels a session or is unavailable, the academy may offer an alternative teacher or arrange a replacement class session to ensure continuity of learning.

7. Suspension or Discontinuation of Classes

Bright Quran Online reserves the right to suspend or discontinue classes for any student. Where practical, we will provide prior notice of such discontinuation.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

For detailed information regarding cancellations, refunds, and financial adjustments, please refer to our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.
