Quran with Tajweed

Online Quran Tajweed Classes for Kids & Adults

Develop correct pronunciation and apply Tajweed rules confidently. Our live, one-to-one classes allow students to work on Quran reading and Tajweed together, guided by an experienced teacher.

Can You Learn Quran Reading and Tajweed Together?

Yes. At Bright Quran Online, we recognise that students do not all begin at the same point. We do not require every student to already read the Quran fluently before introducing Tajweed.

A learner who is still developing their basic reading skills may work on foundational reading and relevant Tajweed principles simultaneously. Meanwhile, someone who already reads the Quran comfortably may focus directly on rule application and detailed correction. Your teacher will adapt the approach to reflect your current level.

What You Will Learn

Makharij

Learn exactly where each Arabic letter is articulated in the mouth and throat, allowing you to practise clearer, accurate pronunciation.

Noon Sakinah & Tanween

Understand the applicable rules of recitation when encountering a Noon Sakinah or Tanween, and practise applying them as you read.

Meem Sakinah

Learn the specific rules surrounding Meem Sakinah, ensuring you pronounce the letter correctly according to the letter that follows it.

Madd

Familiarise yourself with the relevant lengthening rules (Madd), so you know when to extend a vowel sound and how long to hold it.

Waqf & Ibtida

Develop a strong awareness of appropriate stopping (Waqf) and restarting (Ibtida) points to preserve the correct meaning of the verses.

Practical Correction

Read or recite directly to a teacher who will identify your mistakes, explain the necessary corrections, and guide your continuous practice.

From Understanding to Applying

Knowing the name of a Tajweed rule is very different from successfully applying it while reading the Quran. Our teaching process focuses heavily on practical execution:

  1. The teacher explains a relevant rule clearly.
  2. You practise the rule directly during your recitation.
  3. The teacher listens carefully and identifies mistakes.
  4. You re-practise the corrected pronunciation and application.

This cycle of guided reading ensures that Tajweed becomes a natural part of your recitation rather than just a theoretical concept.

Learning for Children and Adults

We offer dedicated Tajweed guidance for all ages. For children's classes, we provide regular progress updates to parents to keep them involved in their child's development.

Male and female teachers are generally available for children's classes, subject to scheduling confirmation. Adult classes use male teachers only.
